Black Gold Brewery offers small batch craft beer and is located in the historic downtown of Petrolia, Ontario. Our oil town history has inspired both our brand and our facility to provide a great place for locals to gather and tourists to discover.
Since opening, this brewery has created a vast line of craft beers that can be enjoyed by the pint, flight or can. With flavours like “Liquid Gold Cream Ale” and “Where Robert Met Fletcher Pseudo Lager”, there is a unique taste in every product Black Gold Brewery brews. New comers don’t realize it, but the name Where Robert Met Fletcher happens to be the two streets that the brewery intersects on. Most of the beer names are Petrolia centric and reflect the oil town history.

February 20, 2023 at 2:07 pmWhat a great brewery! It was nice to surprise my craft beer loving fiancé with a day trip from Chatham. Love the popcorn in a bucket 🪣 and the fact that they have tvs! He will also most definitely be bringing some beer home.
