At Sew Retro Bridal Alterations, we believe your gown should be carefully altered to fit your body, not the other way around. Your dream dress is just one alteration away.
We alter wedding and formal gowns. We adjust straps, take in and let out waists and hips, raise up waists, add lace, take off lace, shorten hem lines, add in corset backs, add sleeves and recreate necklines. The list goes on but that’s technical stuff.
We want you to love your dress. Really love it! We want you to step into that dress and feel like a million bucks. We want you to be able to walk confidently into a room knowing that that dress expresses your individuality and fits you perfectly. We want you to look at yourself in the mirror and say, “WOW!” That’s why you are considering coming to us. Because we promise you we will not be happy until or unless you are happy.

8 months agoNicole was great to work with in the months leading up to my wedding. Every fitting appointment she took great care to make sure my dress was fitting correctly and to my liking. She did a stunning job, I would definitely recommend her work!

a year agoI was recommended Sew Retro through the store I purchased my wedding dress from. Nicole was wonderful to work with and I could not have been happier with my dress! She made suggestions that made the dress fit better and was very reasonably priced! I would recommend her to everyone.

a year agoNicole did the most amazing work on my wedding dress. I had to buy it off the rack multiple sizes too big and the store had me in a panic that it needed tons of work. Nicole assured me it was no big deal. She knew exactly what to do to make it work for my body. Everyone at the reception was asking if the dress was made for me it fit so well. I had a rather long train that a simple bustle wouldn't have looked right, she made my dress into a transformer that allowed the train to tuck into the skirt and look like a completely new dress. It did have multiple tie points but she showed us how to do it patiently untill we were confident with it. I live in the GTA but grew up in Sarnia and Nicole consistently worked around my schedule of when I would be in the area. The dress alterations was the part of the wedding process I was most concerned about but Nicole made it the smoothest process. Cannot recommend her enough!!
