The Bridal Contest is exclusively intended for residents of Ontario and will be construed and evaluated according to provincial law as indicated below. Please do not enter if you are not a resident of Ontario.
IMPORTANT: Please read the Contest Terms and Conditions (“Official Rules”) before entering the Bridal Contest, hosted and administered by Bridal Confidential. By entering the contest, you (the “Contestant”) represent that you satisfy all the eligibility requirements in Rules 1 and 2 below and you are deemed to have read and to agree to be bound unconditionally by these Official Rules. No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win.
1. HOW TO ENTER
The Bridal Contest is an online annual contest continuing until terminated by Bridal Confidential. For 2024, the contest period runs from January 10, 2024 to June 30, 2024 at 11:59pm EST (the “Contest Period”). The Contest Period is at the sole discretion of Bridal Confidential. Bridal Confidential reserves the right to end the contest at any time.
To participate in the Bridal Contest, visit BridalConfidential.com/Contests (the “Website”) and follow the steps to become a contestant and to learn how to earn additional ballots for the random draw on July 1, 2024. All contestants must register an account on BridalConfidential.com, follow Bridal Confidential and Group Travel by Susan on social media, and upload a photo featuring the contestant and their partner on the website. All contestant entries must be manual. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices will result in disqualification.
By entering the Bridal Contest, you represent and warrant that you are the owner or licensee of any and all materials and information, including photos and personal information, submitted by you to the Bridal Contest and you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to Bridal Confidential an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully-paid-up, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, transfer, distribute any such materials for any purpose and in any format on or in connection with the BridalConfidential.com website or the promotion thereof. Submissions must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of Bridal Confidential, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content, and submissions must not infringe any intellectual property rights of third parties.
2. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to participate in the Bridal Contest, you must be planning a wedding, a legal resident of Ontario who is of legal age as of January 10, 2024, a registered and confirmed BridalConfidential.com account holder, a follower of Bridal Confidential and Group Travel by Susan on Facebook and/or Instagram and you must submit a photo of you and your partner to be featured on the Bridal Confidential website. Once reviewed by Bridal Confidential, your photo should be posted live within 2 business days. At any time, Bridal Confidential will have the right to request from any Contestant who has participated in the Bridal Contest, proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate. Failure to provide proof within a reasonable time at the discretion of Bridal Confidential, could result in the disqualification of the contestant. Bridal Confidential reserves the right to disqualify any contestants who, in Bridal Confidential’s sole discretion, do not comply with these Official Rules or who otherwise tamper with the entry process.
3. HOW TO EARN ADDITIONAL BALLOTS
The winners of the Bridal Contest Grand Prize and Exclusive Vendor Prizes will be randomly chosen on July 1, 2024. However, there are additional ways to earn Bridal Contest ballots. The more ballots Contestants earn, the higher change of winning the Grand Prize or Exclusive Vendor Prizes. There are two different ways in which additional ballots can be earned:
- Get Likes On Your Contest Photo
- Contestants can share a direct link to their Bridal Contest photo with their family and friends and encourage them to vote/like for their photo
- Votes are tracked and presented on the Bridal Confidential website in real time. Only one vote is allowed per visitor (IP address)
- For every 20 votes/likes, Contestants receive 1 additional Bridal Contest ballot
- Connect With Bridal Confidential Vendors
- Contestants can request information or schedule meetings with Bridal Confidential vendors directly our site using the “Message Vendor” contact form found on every vendor business page in our Wedding Directory
- For every 5 Bridal Confidential vendors contacted, Contestants receive 1 additional Bridal Contest ballot
Bridal Confidential may add additional ways to earn Bridal Contest ballots throughout the Contest Period.
Please note: Contestant photo submissions that appear on BridalConfidential.com/Contests are publicly accessible.
4. PRIZES
Grand Prize: Bridal Confidential is teaming up with its Travel Sponsor, Group Travel by Susan, to offer a 7-night stay for two (2) at the all-inclusive 5-star Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort in beautiful Dominican Republic. Trip also includes $500 towards flights.

- Extra nights or additional services can be added depending on availability at time of booking, when booking with Group Travel by Susan
The Grand Prize may change during the Contest Period at the sole discretion of Bridal Confidential. Any costs and expenses associated with the Grand Prize and not specifically referred to in these Official Rules and all applicable taxes in respect of any such additional expenses are the sole responsibility of the Bridal Contest winners. The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash or otherwise.

More vendor prizes to be added throughout the Contest Period.
Weekly Giveaways: Each week, Bridal Confidential will give away a wedding-related prize from one of its local wedding vendors via Instagram. Giveaways include anything from free photo engagement shoots to discounted services. Bridal Contestants are required to follow Bridal Confidential’s Instagram contest rules and winners will be chosen randomly each week.
5. SELECTION OF WINNERS
The winners of the Grand Prize and Exclusive Vendor Prizes will be randomly selected on July 1, 2024, a day after the contest end date of June 30, 2024. A tally of each Contestants additional ballots will be compiled and the more ballots Contestants have, the higher chance they will be selected for one of the prizes. The first randomly selected Contestant will win the Grand Prize. They will have 12 hours to claim their prize by answering a mathematical question via email. Each selected winner afterwards will have the choice of which Exclusive Vendor Prize they would like.
Winners will then be shared on Bridal Confidential’s website and social media channels.
6. RELEASES
Before being declared the Bridal Contest winner, the winning contestant must sign a declaration of eligibility and release form (the “Release”) indicating that the selected Contestant: (a) has complied and agrees to comply with these Official Rules; (b) accepts the Grand Prizes as offered; (c) will keep his/her winning notification confidential until notified; (d) releases Bridal Confidential, their sponsors, vendors, and any other parties to be added to the Release by Bridal Confidential in their sole discretion (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses arising from his/her participation in the Bridal Contest or his/her acceptance, use, misuse or awarding of the Grand Prizes, including, without limitation, liability for losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property; (e) indemnifies the Released Parties from and against any and all losses that the Released Parties may incur arising out of any act or omission by him/her in connection with the Bridal Contest or the Grand Prizes, including losses arising from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom; and (f) except where prohibited by law, acknowledges Bridal Confidential’s and their respective authorized representatives’ rights to publish and/or broadcast his/her picture, name, city, likeness and/or statements without further compensation other than the Grand Prizes offered. The Release may also contain such other terms and conditions as Bridal Confidential, in its sole discretion, may decide.
The selected contestant must return the Release in accordance with the instructions indicated on the document. If the Release is not returned on time or is returned as non-deliverable or if the selected contestant is disqualified for any other reason, the Grand Prizes will be forfeited and the contestant with the next highest amount of points will be chosen from the remaining eligible contestants. All such releases must be returned by the date indicated on the document.
BY ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, THE WINNER WILL BE REQUIRED TO ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HIS/HER PARTICIPATION IN THE GRAND PRIZE IS VOLUNTARY AND AGREE THAT THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE IN ANY WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RESULTING INJURY AND/OR DEATH.
7. CONSENT AGREEMENT
By entering the Bridal Contest, you: (1) agree to be bound by these Official Rules; (2) consent to the use of your name, wedding date, city of residence, picture, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium throughout Canada in perpetuity without additional compensation unless prohibited by law, and (3) agree that Bridal Confidential may send you information, promotions, or special offers that Bridal Confidential determines may be of interest to you.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Bridal Confidential does not assume any responsibility for and under no circumstances will Bridal Confidential, or its respective employees and sponsors, be liable to any person or business entity for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or other damages based on any Contestant’s participation in the Bridal Contest, including for: (i) Entries which are incomplete, unintelligible, lost, late or misdirected; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to failure of the Internet or the Website during the Contest Period, any problems, failure or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, online or electronic systems, servers, access providers, computer hardware or software, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof or other failures related to hardware, software or virus; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Bridal Contest; (iv) technical or human error related to the administration of the Bridal Contest or the processing of Contestants; (v) any injury, loss or damage of any kind which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any Contestant’s, winner’s or guest’s participation in the Bridal Contest or the receipt of the Grand Prizes; (vi) any use of the Website or any other website to which the Website is linked (including without limitation any injury or damage to a Contestant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Bridal Contest); or (vii) any Contestant’s failure to abide by the Official Rules. The limitations of liability set out in this Rule 8 apply, without limitation, to any lost profits, business interruption or loss of programs or information and will apply even if Bridal Confidential has been specifically advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
The Website and all the information it contains are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. All implied warranties, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, are hereby expressly disclaimed. The Grand Prize is awarded “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
10. MISCELLANEOUS
All decisions of Bridal Confidential will be final and binding in all matters relating to the administration of the Bridal Contest. Bridal Confidential reserves the right, without prior notice, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Bridal Contest if, for any reason, the Bridal Contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Bridal Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond its control. In the event of cancellation of the Bridal Contest, Bridal Confidential may award the Contestant with the highest number of points at that time prior to cancellation in accordance with Rule 4. Bridal Confidential reserves the right to amend the Official Rules without prior notice if any factor interferes with the proper conduct of the Bridal Contest as contemplated by these Official Rules. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Bridal Contest and a dispute thereafter arise regarding the identity of the Contestant, the authorized account holder of said email account at the time of entry will be considered the Contestant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
