A Memorable Year
Another year comes to an end – and what a year it’s been!
2021 has been a pivotal year for the local wedding industry. Weddings were postponed time and time again, but despite the bumps and bruises, we triumphed over COVID-19 and proved that love always wins! ❤️
Couples needed help navigating through COVID and finding the best local vendors to help make their dream wedding come to life; while wedding professionals continued to use our advertising services to reach thousands of local couples!

The Launch
In early January 2021, we launched our new website and transformed our legacy print magazine into a digital wedding directory that connects engaged couples to local wedding professionals across Southern Ontario.
While continuing to grow our presence across Southwestern Ontario (Windsor, Sarnia, London and Chatham), we started growing the directory of vendors across all of Southern Ontario, including Kitchener-Waterloo and the Greater Toronto Area.
Bridal Contest
We kicked off our new Bridal Contest early in the year and nearly 180 engaged couples participated. The contest generated a ton of interest and more than 120 bookings with our vendors. Our first Bridal Contest winners, Ashley & Derek, were crowned winners in October and won $1,000 cash! More than $6,000 was given away in the form of prizes and giveaways from 20 of our local vendors!
Since then, our second Bridal Contest has launched and 30 more contestants have joined in! Our first Grand Prize was announced in November – a Getaway Experience to Blyth, Ontario ($1,300 value!). A second Grand Prize is currently in the works!

2022: What’s Ahead
Although some challenges may still lie ahead of us, we look forward to 2022 and the beautiful weddings our local couples are planning! 💍
2022 will most likely see record-breaking numbers for weddings both big and small! And we can’t wait to continue on this journey helping couples plan their dream wedding and helping local wedding businesses grow.
