3 weeks agoWe came here as a family of 4. We had an amazing trip. The location is perfect right on the beach. There is coral out front so we got to snorkel right here. Water was a little murky but still fun and seen lots of fish. We did a few a la carte meals. The Japanese, French and el rancho steak house. Japanese restaurant was really fun, the chefs do a great job at keeping people entertained. French was just ok and the steakhouse was really good. My new friends at the beach bar Crucito and Elias made our trip even better. Great service and very friendly people. Taught me some new Spanish which added to my experience. Good resort. I’ve been there 3 times over the past 20 years been awesome every time.

a week agoOverall a good experience. More so for a family vacation. A lot to do for kids. Not so much for couples. Make sure to make dinner reservations as soon as possible for the themed dinner or else you’ll end up eating at 9:30pm like us or eating at the buffet. Beautiful beach and nice pool. The service was great. The rooms were nice and comfortable. A variety of good drinks, including coffee, non alcoholic, and healthy juice. Only complaint was not all the food fresh and could’ve been better quality. Then also just the dinner reservation improvement.

2 weeks agoWe are members and mostly say at the members pool bar. Juan is by far the best bar tender I have ever had. He’s fun, funny and easy to talk to. Absolutely the best ! Whole resort was a great experience. The weather was perfect too. The member dining room is also a great experience.

a week agoWow where do I start? This is honest opinion as someone who never writes reviews to warn others. There is one major flaw about this resort. 1. Service is the worst I have ever experienced. If you don’t have a club member band, good luck getting served at the restaurants. We have sat down for meals 7 times and not ONCE has a server came by to even give us a water let alone a hello. But man, a club member walks in and they lay out the red carpet. Same goes for the bars, the snacks, etc. every morning we watch ULC members sit down next to us for breakfast… get served coffee, juice, water and nice chit chat meanwhile my child and I can’t even get a water and a hello. We travel down to Punta Cana quite a bit and this resort is just not worth your money. So to summarize, if you want to be treated like a human being and get service, pay for the member experience otherwise you’ll get shafted. Still have two more days here and honestly, I want to go home.

a month agoHi Google. This resort is well priced for the quality and offerings. Having some incredible staff is what sets it apart. The water park is pretty boss too for the kiddos. Nice layout. The beach is great. There is one buffet room that smells a bit worse than others. But some people don't seem to mind. Drinks are good and plentiful. The food truck guys are the best. Super nice and take some care with the short order food. The Japanese place was pretty good Johnny Walker was our chef. Jefferson at the buffet was a cool guy too. Knew a lot of languages. The staff here are even helping me learn more spanish. It's dope. Again.. the staff are a step up from the resort we were at last year in the DR.
