a week agoFantastic hotel, the staff can not do more for you. Food is great. Always something to eat. Rooms clean & tidy. Beach is gorgeous. Best animation ever! Supersonic & Omega are the best! Ana in the restaurant was a superstar. Made us so welcome everyday.

a week agoAmazing resort, we loved every second of our time here. Plenty of space to sit in the day, especially on the beach. Food was great, we loved the Rodizio and Japanese in particular and also wish we’d had more of the tacos! Entertainment was fab and sports bar and coffee shop were a welcome break from the heat sometimes. We went to the water park too which was a nice bonus! Overall would highly recommend and would definitely come back

a month agoWe just returned home after 9 days on this resort—myself, my boyfriend, and my 15 and 16 year old boys. We had an amazing time. The animation team was “Super” —especially Joker. There was always something fun to do but never any pressure to do it. Rooms were clean, comfortable, well stocked and the air conditioning in our room was working very well. Food was pretty good— not fantastic but lots of options. The service in some of the restaurants wasn’t always top notch but they try! Drinks were great. Evening shows were fun. Wilson—our concierge— was amazing. He was very attentive and so very helpful. The beach was amazing and very clean. There were always chairs and cabanas available. If I searched, I may be able to find something to complain about however, we went there to have a happy vacation and that’s exactly what we had! Thanks to everyone at Grand Sirenis Punta Cana!

in the last weekThe kids club has been amazing all week. My kids really enjoy participating on the activities daily as well as the evening shows. I highly recommend this resort if you have small children. So much for them to do here.

a week agoBelow, I outline some of the specific issues faced during the holiday: Hotel Experience: Our booking was for two rooms adjacent to each other, as booked far in advance, but this was not honored. The rooms provided were in poor condition: Our room was two separate beds which was suppose to be a large bed suitable for a couple. Children room only had two separate beds, leaving one of my daughters without a bed. Both rooms smelled of damp, and ants were present in the wardrobes and bathrooms. Bed sheets were not changed for three days until we explicitly requested it. AC made loud, cracking noises, and no action was taken despite reporting it. Mosquitos invaded our rooms specially at nights making our nights sleepless. Mattresses were smelly and dirty, despite many calls to reception nothing has been done. There was no provision of toothbrushes or toothpaste as expected from a hotel of this advertised standard. Food and Beverage Services: The restaurant did not label most of its food, which caused confusion and concern for my family. We require Halal food which is not available understandable, and my daughter has a severe nut allergy, yet the staff provided inaccurate and conflicting information regarding ingredients. We therefore had to restrict our meals to a minimum as we could not eat meat, chicken or pork. Also careful of allergy. Non-alcoholic drinks were substandard, lacking freshness and variety, which was highly disappointing, especially in a tropical country. New Year’s Eve Discrimination: We were denied a New Year table booking unless we purchased a $60 bottle of wine, which discriminates against families who do not consume alcohol. Facilities: The advertised shuttle to the water park was not operational, making it inconvenient to access. We observed a rat swimming in the pool, and our complaint was dismissed by staff. The overall service was appalling, and speaking to the hotel manager was a fruitless endeavor as they were dismissive and unhelpful. This situation caused significant stress and affected the well-being of my family during what should have been a joyous celebration of our wedding anniversary.
