Dream Getaway in Jamaica: Tiff & Will’s Unforgettable Honeymoon

Will and I entered the Dream Getaway Contest not thinking we had any chances of winning. But to our surprise (and excitement), we received an email from Bridal Confidential saying that we won an all-inclusive 3-night stay at Secrets – St. James Montego Bay in Jamaica! This was the best news ever as we were originally not planning on having a honeymoon. Bridal Confidential provided us with an opportunity that we will never forget.
This getaway was in partnership with Mel at Love Voyage who is absolutely incredible. Mel helped us every step of the way and took care of everything. She booked our flights, accommodations, and even booked us transportation to and from the airport because she knew it was our first time travelling to Jamaica. Mel was extremely accommodating and even managed to book the trip for us right after our wedding, which was a busy time for the resort. With Mel’s guidance, we also extended our trip an additional two nights. Mel’s expertise was not only invaluable, but working with Mel was a delight because she’s so kind and funny. We could not have asked for a better travel advisor.
Then there’s Jamaica. Jamaica is breathtaking. Upon landing at the airport, we could already feel the hot summer breeze. And the St. James Montego Bay resort is beautiful. We spent all day at the numerous pools, and just lounging away at the beach. We got to experience various cuisines – from the Jamaican-Caribbean restaurant to the Italian restaurant, to the French restaurant. We enjoyed them all. But our absolute favourite has got to be the jerk chicken cart – absolutely delicious!
We truly enjoyed relaxing and spending time together in beautiful Jamaica and feel so lucky to have had this opportunity. Our biggest thanks to Bridal Confidential and Mel at Love Voyage for this incredible getaway!
