Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort

The animation team was very good :) everything went well, the destination is perfect, the area of the whole hotel is huge, so you’ve got plenty of space to walk around. The amount of bars and restaurants is amazing, there’s something on nearly every corner. The sea is clean, coast with the softest sand I’ve ever walked on. Perfect holidays. Definitely would recommend and come back again. Child friendly, programme is full of family activities.

Best time with my friends and family! Service was always there when we needed them. Hotel has a beautiful property with great scenery and a by far beautiful beach! (With no seaweed!) Staff is so kind . Food is amazing. And cleaning is great! Best trip with friends and family!

Recently stayed at this resort and it’s the worst you can get for a “5 star hotel”. First of all, the sanitation in the whole resort is concerning. Our room had stains on the bedsheets and pillowcases after every time they came in for cleaning and there were bugs in the room as well. I killed a bug on the wall and its body was still on the wall after several rounds of cleaning service. The shower drain was not working properly so water flooded all across the bathroom and into the bedrooms which we couldn’t ask someone to clean until the morning so we had to sleep with water surrounding us. Also, after we asked them to fix it, they claimed it was fixed but the water still flooded the next night. There were stains on the plates and utensils in the restaurants and there were always flies landing on the food in the buffet. This leads to my next point of the poor food in the resort. The only option to have decent food is to make a reservation for dinner at one of the restaurants and for breakfast and lunch you can only eat at the buffet which has the same mediocre food every time. I even got food poisoning from eating bread and butter which must have been ages old. On our second night, we ate at the Mediterranean restaurant which gave us the wrong order at first, and on our last night we ate at the Italian restaurant which did not have good pizza. You would think that an Italian restaurant would have good pizza, but they couldn’t even give us that. Some overall complaints I have are no ventilation in the bathroom, half of a door for the shower (they only give fully closing doors to premium members aka you have to pay for better living conditions), the activities were poorly organized, and everything closes early so there’s nothing to do after 6 pm. Although the staff were friendly and the service was not bad, DO NOT come here.

The facilities are good but the service is generally poor. I’d attribute that to poor management. Today it is 730 pm and our room is not made up. Took 2 hours to get fresh towels. Called housekeeping several time over the 2 hours and kept hearing that they are on their way with the towels. Had to go to the front desk and wait there to get any service. Spoke to the front desk and their manager Pauline, the apologies seemed forced and insincere. An exception were Kennedy and Gregory at breakfast and Rosa at the pool lunch buffet whose service was very good. There is always a shortage of cutlery at the buffet restaurants. The acrobatic and magic shows was amazing. Lots of entertainment through out the day. The water slides were amazing too. Thank you Noel. Beach and pool were great.

We came here as a family of 4. We had an amazing trip. The location is perfect right on the beach. There is coral out front so we got to snorkel right here. Water was a little murky but still fun and seen lots of fish. We did a few a la carte meals. The Japanese, French and el rancho steak house. Japanese restaurant was really fun, the chefs do a great job at keeping people entertained. French was just ok and the steakhouse was really good. My new friends at the beach bar Crucito and Elias made our trip even better. Great service and very friendly people. Taught me some new Spanish which added to my experience. Good resort. I’ve been there 3 times over the past 20 years been awesome every time.
