in the last weekJust got back from Breathless Punta Cana and overall it was a great stay — solid experience. The resort itself is beautiful, the pool area was definitely a highlight, and the vibe was fun and lively. Service was good overall and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The only downside was the food — it wasn’t bad, but it didn’t wow us. The good thing is you get access to Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana next door, and we found their dining options to be better with more variety and quality. Overall, we had a really good time and would consider coming back — especially knowing we can mix in dining at Dreams next time.

in the last weekbreathless is worth going to. food is excellent. service is excellent. maid is excellent. room service is fast. staff is excellent. grounds sre excellent however I'm from USA and must say American guests in the resort are the problem. don't smoke tobacco anyplace you want to. leave your weed at home.dont go to the pool and put an old sandal or an old book on the chairs to reserve for later in the day. 25 people in pool.area and every chair has something on it.i have gone to a few all inclusive in the dominican republic and have to say that I like breathless the best and will return.

in the last weekA couple from Spain stayed from February 11th to 18th. The stay was awful, quite unpleasant, resulting in several complaints, room changes, and the resulting inconvenience. Below is a summary to help others avoid what we experienced: The hotel is in very poor condition, outdated, with faulty doors and bathroom fixtures in the room. It needs renovation; I've attached some photos. In the first room, there was a strong smell of damp. They provided a dehumidifier that no one emptied; my husband had to empty it every time it filled with water, which happened frequently. Housekeeping didn't replenish the toilet paper, and there was sand on the floor from the first day. Entertainment: There was hardly any, and when there was, it was quite poor. The MCs spoke English. The music was either 2010s rap or house music at parties. Very repetitive. The app showed incorrect times and locations for the first few days. The music was too loud everywhere. For example, the electric violin in the Culinary Restaurant made it so loud you could barely speak; if you did, you had to shout. The air conditioning was blasting in all the food areas; you needed a jacket or long sleeves. The food: Not just bad, but awful. For example, in the Italian restaurant, the food was raw and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The red wine was spoiled and always served warm. The kitchen was terrible, and I doubt there was a chef in charge at a 5-star hotel because the desserts were store-bought and a lot of the food was pre-cooked. The pastries, too, must have come from elsewhere because they were worse than frozen cakes and baked—nothing homemade or made there. The bread was frozen and stale; I doubt almost any dish was cooked in the kitchen except on a griddle. Zero quality. The staff: Horrid, slow… very, very slow. And let me be clear, they have a lot of staff, but the service is poor and they are generally rude. Drinks: very poor quality. Curiously, drinks outside the bars that weren't Xhale didn't have dispensers. The waiters prepared cocktails with so much alcohol that they were undrinkable. Oddly, they didn't measure the amount. For example, on Friday, my husband ordered a Coca-Cola Zero with his lunch, and after we finished eating, they hadn't brought it. The same thing happened on Saturday at lunch, except that when we were halfway through the meal, I had to speak to a dining room manager. The same thing happened on Sunday at lunch; I had to speak to them again… and we decided never to return to that dining room, the Spoon buffet. In that same dining room, I asked for yogurt for dessert, since the desserts at the buffet were awful and very artificial, and they refused, saying they didn't have any, when in fact they do, as they serve them for breakfast, and it was the same dining room. They never have straws for drinks or cocktails. Our concierge, Alexander, had to buy them at a store outside the hotel. Regarding the first room, the bathroom had peeling paint, and they wanted to repaint it during our stay, which wasn't suitable with us inside. Finding a free sun lounger by the pool was impossible… people reserve them, which isn't allowed. At 7 am, you'd find it occupied, and there was nobody in the pool… some people would arrive at noon and still not have their loungers. There was no control over the towels; people would take two or three and reserve loungers at different pools, and when they left, they wouldn't collect them, even at 10 pm. It was so bad that they decided to move us to a suite, which was in deplorable condition (I've also attached photos). We had to ask for bathrobes four times over two days before they were brought. The Balinese bed on the beach was in a shameful state. This hotel is not recommended at all. We paid over €4,000 for VIP service; without it, we would have left on the first day. The only good thing was our concierge, who tried his best to improve our stay, but they didn't make it easy for him. They even told him the bathrobes were in the room, and when we arrived two hours later, they weren't there. They ruined our trip.

in the last weekI've been to 5 different resorts in Punta Cana, this is one of the smaller, more cozy resorts! The food is amazing, specially the restaurants. I would highly recommend to try the French restaurant and their duck confit the beach jerk chicken is also a classic!
