a week agoThursday date night was a great meal with excellent value. Charcuterie board for two, sirloin as the main and a delicious carrot cake dessert all for $100 can’t be beat. Best food in town.

a month agoWine tasting at Dark Horse Estate Winery was such a vibe 🍷✨ This place is beautiful — the kind of winery where you instantly slow down. The setting, the space, the whole atmosphere just feels calm and a little fancy without being intimidating. We did the tasting and loved that they actually explain the wines in a way that’s interesting but not over-the-top wine-snob energy. You can tell they care about what they’re pouring, and it made the whole experience feel more personal. The wines were great across the board — something for every taste. Whether you’re into crisp and refreshing or smooth and bold, you’ll find a favourite. It’s the perfect stop for a girls’ day, date, or just a “let’s pretend we’re classy for the afternoon” moment. Relaxing, pretty, and genuinely enjoyable — we’d absolutely go back for another round 🍇💛

2 months agoGreat winery. We started with a tasting at the wine bar. We were able to sample 4 wines of our choice and the tastings were half price for $10. We loved and purchased the Maeryn, Baco Noir and the Sparkling white. I’m glad the tasting was half price because they didn’t offer any discounts or waive tasting fees on bottle purchases. That can add up. Afterward we dined in Danu Cellars and enjoyed the date night menu which included a shared appie, each an entree and shared dessert. Portions were decent and everything was on point in terms of taste and flavour for $100. We had steak and the turkey dinner. The scallop appie was amazing and carrot cake for dessert was yummy. Sarah and Emma made our night perfect with super recommendations and excellent service. Very nice people. We will return next summer for a patio experience without a doubt !

4 months agoGot the chance to have dinner at Danu Cellars and oh my goodness was it ever delicious!! Great wine (loved the Stirling Meritage), amazing food (the pork jowl was to die for!), and fantastic service! Would highly recommend for a date night or celebration :) thank you!
