At Peninsula Ridge we specialize in small, intimate, and unique weddings that cater to couples who truly want an unforgettable experience. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Ontario including the Toronto Skyline and of course our pristine vineyards. We have purposely kept the venue small (50 to 65 guests) so that we can provide for a very distinct and personalized level of service.
Our culinary team takes great pride in customizing our guests dining experience using fresh locally grown produce (often grown right down the street) served by skilled, professional, and friendly staff. Our reputation for epicurean excellence is often one of the main reasons why couples choose Peninsula Ridge.
Peninsula Ridge is a very special place and is perfect for hosting the most important day of your life, particularly if you are looking for an experience that is intimate and unique. Is the size of your wedding too big for us? We are also the picture-perfect setting for your bridal shower, engagement party or rehearsal dinner.

10 months agoFinding the coach house was a dream come true for our intimate wedding!! The venue was exactly what we imagined: quaint, picturesque views, access to the vineyards & most importantly delicious food & wine! We enjoyed our meal immensely and the passed hβors doeveres throughout the evening. Our band fit beautifully in the covered patio and lead to a memorable dance party!. As an added bonus, we had the most beautiful sunset :)! Thank you to Laura and her team for providing us with the wedding we desired - it was an absolute dream!!!

11 months agoWe had high hopes for our wedding at Peninsula Ridge Estate Winery, but our experience was riddled with disorganization and poor communication β particularly with Laura. From the beginning, Laura would often make reassuring statements like, βwe can coordinate this, we can support with that, weβll ensure everything is all set to go.β These promises gave us a false sense of security and were a big reason we chose this venue. However, after the wedding, she stated sheβs βnot a wedding coordinator,β revealing that those earlier promises were likely made just to secure our booking. Throughout the planning process, we had to resend timelines and important details because there was no indication she was prepared to coordinate effectively. Days before the wedding, we tried to set up a meeting with her. She responded with, βCurrently on the road today. Will reply back to you tomorrow,β but we had to message her multiple times as no follow-up ever came. We had provided her with the seating arrangements for our guests well in advance, along with a list of attendees for each event time. Yet, on the day of the wedding, she asked us about reserved seating β something she never once communicated about during all the time working with her. I had to give her instructions on how to work around it in the moment. Even some of our vendors and wedding guests were taken aback by how unprepared she seemed β a few even assumed this was her first wedding. During the ceremony walkthrough (the day before the wedding), she incorrectly stated that our ceremony started at 4:00pm. I had to remind her β again β that it started at 2:00pm. She dismissed this by saying she hadnβt had a wedding start at 2:00pm in four years, despite me providing the timeline multiple times. She never followed up or clarified any questions. There was also a specific sign meant to be placed on the chair where my mother would have been seated. I provided this sign to Laura the day before the wedding, and even had my bridesmaid hand it to her the day of. Despite this, it remained in the box and another generic sign was used instead. After the wedding, when I brought it up, it was clear she couldnβt keep track of the details. To top it off, our wedding cake was returned to us wrapped β but the cake topper, which alone cost $100, was missing. We followed up with Laura within the timeframe she provided, but received no response. Sadly, this wasnβt the only instance where she failed to reply. The space itself is not suitable for weddings with more than 50 guests. We had discussed our vision in detail and she never once mentioned that the venue would be too small. There was a clear lack of transparency. That said, I do want to acknowledge that the waitstaff, cook, and bartending team did an excellent job. We had zero complaints about them. They were hospitable, attentive to our guests' needs, and receptive to any concerns that came up. Their professionalism truly stood out and made a difference during our event. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing β not because of the beautiful venue or the staff working the event, but because of the disorganization, lack of follow-through, and poor communication from Laura. We were told βyouβll get the Laura you signed with,β but sadly, that person never showed up. This venue seriously needs another assistant, or someone better suited for managing events. To avoid unnecessary stress and disorganization, Iβd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
