4 months agoI played my first round at Mill Run this past week and unfortunately also played my last round that same day. The course is not in great shape and for 98 dollars per person with a cart for a weekday round it is terrible value. Many of the greens full of ant hills! Further to the 98 dollars, there are no ball washers on the course! I hope the Mill Run management does some reflection on how to give people value or improve the course conditions because you leave this place feeling ripped off. For a 100 dollar weekday round one would expect greens that are in good condition and also ball washers.

a month agoWe had a wonderful experience hosting the wedding of my son and his bride at the Mill Run Golf Course. The venue, food and service were STELLAR. Gina was the most attentive and thoughtful planner you could ask for!! All the details that needed to be addressed prior to the wedding and the day of the wedding were meticulously taken care of by Gina and her staff. The wedding came together in one month - no small feat!! Highly recommend their venue and services.

2 months agoWe had a fabulous experience getting married at Mill Run! Gina did a great job of setting up and organizing the ceremony of reception space. Everything was so beautiful and our day flowed seamlessly. The team did a great job keeping everything on track and we got so many compliments about the food! People were served quickly and everything was warm and delicious. Gina was great to communicate with and worked diligently to make our day so special.

2 months agoI highly recommend Mill Run Golf Club if you are looking for a Wedding Venue. We hosted our September 14, 2024 Wedding here and the Venue is absolutely beautiful. The gardens where absolutely beautiful. Gina the Wedding Coordinator was incredible! She was there for us even if we emailed her at 2 in the morning lol She helped answer all of our questions and worked above and beyond to ensure we have a great day and everything ran smoothly. The process booking with this venue and planning the wedding was so easy. Gina with great attention to detail and she genuinely cared about our Wedding which made the experience so special. The food was also incredible and so where all the staff. We had a lot of people with dietary restrictions and she was able to meet them. 10/10 recommend this place to have a wedding. Thank you so much Gina!!

3 years agoUpdate September 2021: Prices have gone up over the previous year, the greens have seen a great deal of use and the sand in the bunker needs refilling (in progress last time I played). Still a fair value for an executive course with interesting elevation changes and well out of an urban environment. Update November 2020: Summer weather and fall colours have been incredibly good for 2020. The warm days have made golf possible mid November with appropriate clothing and Mill Run Highland is still in good condition. Golf has seen an upsurge with C19 and it's been a welcome respite to be able to play late into the year (as a second wave builds). Played the Highlands Executive course in late June of 2020. Best Executive length course I have ever played. The changes in elevation make it interesting although there is no water to cross (thankfully). The sand is soft and decently maintained and the greens run at a good speed. Nice gas Yamaha carts too. Add in the nice staff and it ends up a good game day at a good value. P.S. When you're driving through the access road along the pond to the Highland course, go slow and be careful to keep an eye out for the swan and little ones who like to hang out along the pond side of the road.
