I recently stayed at Elm Hurst Inn & Spa and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The dining experience was one of the highlights of my stay. Even though I was only there for one night, the meal left a lasting impression. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere made the evening feel relaxed and special. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere felt both elegant and welcoming. What really stood out to me was how the staff recognized me throughout my stay and treated me with such kindness and familiarity. It created a warm, personal atmosphere that truly felt like staying with family. A Delightful Birthday Dinner We attended the restaurant last month for a special occasion and first spoke with the fabulous Chef Phillips to ensure he could deal with complex food allergies. He did not disappoint. The care and attention he took to feed me a safe and delicious meal was greatly appreciated. The scallops were sublime and my partner’s prime rib was excellent. Elm Hurst is a lovely setting with an interesting history; we will be sure to explore more the next time we visit.

We went to Elm Hurst as we revived it as a gift from our children. We were excited to receive our gift of the refresh and savour package which gave us the jacuzzi room! We were unable to use as it was not available on the evening we went which is for my birthday We were disappointed there was no accommodations made … we were given a regular room. I brought my lava cake along and was excited to eat later on… no microwave. Our spa appointment went well. I had massage and my husband had facial. We enjoyed it. Just not being asked out loud if we would give a tip… not too professional Additionally, the lotion that was used for my husband treatment was rancid. I’m not sure which product ( as there were many used for facial) it was but it definitely was off. He had to wash 3 times or more to remove the smell( even then it lingered) We were rushed off to dinner to make our reservation on time. No direction or map of the facility to assist with leaving the Spa elevator not marked At dinner, we enjoyed prime rib and a butternut squash tart ( which was not a tart at all). Just a slice of butternut with the rind/skin left on… I needed another fork for the entre as I forgot that I needed it. Waitress said I shouldn’t have done that and had to wait for a fork. Perhaps a suggestion at that time would be preferred. Dessert was chocolate truffle which didn’t even taste like chocolate at all. TV programming was awful in room. It wasn’t working or available. We called front desk not response - waited an hour for call back All in all, for the cost it was very disappointing! Would not recommend
