Mill Run Golf Club

The highlands executive course is fantastic. Lovely spot to play golf in the fall. Lots of rolling hills and fantastic vistas.

The Highland course is great value and was in great shape in October. It's an 18 hole course with 5 par 4s and the rest par 3s. There are some nice holes with elevation changes. This course is well suited for newer players as there are very few hazards but it's also great to work on irons and short game for experienced players. Play was quick on a Sunday morning taking 3 hours for the round.

Update September 2021: Prices have gone up over the previous year, the greens have seen a great deal of use and the sand in the bunker needs refilling (in progress last time I played). Still a fair value for an executive course with interesting elevation changes and well out of an urban environment. Update November 2020: Summer weather and fall colours have been incredibly good for 2020. The warm days have made golf possible mid November with appropriate clothing and Mill Run Highland is still in good condition. Golf has seen an upsurge with C19 and it's been a welcome respite to be able to play late into the year (as a second wave builds). Played the Highlands Executive course in late June of 2020. Best Executive length course I have ever played. The changes in elevation make it interesting although there is no water to cross (thankfully). The sand is soft and decently maintained and the greens run at a good speed. Nice gas Yamaha carts too. Add in the nice staff and it ends up a good game day at a good value. P.S. When you're driving through the access road along the pond to the Highland course, go slow and be careful to keep an eye out for the swan and little ones who like to hang out along the pond side of the road.

My wedding was in Sep 2023 , just 4 months ago. The lady who takes care of all wedding related Matters , Gina Morrison is a wonderful excellent lady who is kind, supportive, available to answer all your questions , easy to find, easy to talk to and in general a wonderful support throughout the whole process since one starts planning their wedding. Overall I had a wonderful experience and even the day of the wedding all went well and staff were very nice and supportive, food was amazing and venue was gorgeous. Thank you Gina and Thank you Mill run Gulf Club for everything.

Venue looked amazing, but we only played the highland course. The course is shorter but the hills make it an interesting and fun play. A little pricey and quite far from the GTA but overall had a fun time.
