The Ice Box makes in-house ice cream and gelato that brings you back to simpler times with a taste profile unmatched! They offer custom build trailer or truck designed for weddings of 100+ guests as well as a traditional ice cream bike that can serve your guests a half pint.
What made you get into the wedding industry?
We love making custom ice cream and making really unique options for various events. We were approached by a couple saying that there first date was in our store and wanted us at their wedding. After working through the motions, we were able to give them an unbelievable experience that made us realize we want to keep doing it!
What makes you differentiate from other vendors?
We offer such a unique service and product because the bride and groom get to create their own ice cream and flavours; so it’s not just pick from a list but lets make your personality an ice cream. We are also one of the very few in Ontario that make our own ice cream from scratch and use local ingredients, putting quality first. We also offer any of our ice cream vegan as well so everyone can enjoy it.

What’s the coolest wedding you’ve ever attended?
We were at a rustic barn and they had a mobile café come so everyone got to have ice coffee and espresso whenever and it was truly awesome to see their unique side come out!
What is your favorite wedding trend of 2022?
Probably the growth of unique venue settings. I just love all the unique places people are getting married.
What wedding planning advice would you give engaged couples?
Have fun with it! Come up with a something that sets you apart from anyone else. We hired a comedian for our wedding and our guests still bring it up to this day when we get together and it’s a great feeling.
