- Do not start hiring vendors until you know the total cost of your wedding. Many couples
rush to book a venue and come up short on money, long on problems and the try to DIY it
to save, only to adding the stress for even worse results. We can help before you book
anything or if you have, share any concerns so you can address them. It’s why nearly 100%
of couples go 30-40% over budget (calculate that from your wedding investment). We can

officiant cannot marry you if they suspect you are intoxicated at all, from alcohol, smoking,
vaping or cannabis. - Do not let friends to be the DJ, MC, Photographer, Videographer, Officiant or Limo “guy”.
This could cost you $15,000 to fix the problems we’ve seen created by this “friend of a
friend” service offering. - Do not book your DJ for 4 hours – there are risk factors you can’t even imagine. The longer
you book, the less stress you’ll experience. A bride call me at 9:30 pm/ Her DJ had not
arrived. He wedding was ruined, no music, no dancing, nothing. It just ended. Had she
booked from 5pm-1am, she would have had this problem at 5:30, and at least had time to find
someone. The entire wedding investment could be considered the cost of this money
saving vendor hire error. - Do not book a cheap DJ (especially for weddings with a smaller guest count). The smaller
the wedding, the better the DJ/MC/Entertainment has to be. This will be the most
expensive mistake you can make. One couple lost $9,000 because of their cheap DJ and
many couples had no-shows, because they found a higher paying event. - Do not ask on Social Media for “affordable”, “reasonable”, budget-friendly”, or “average”
prices for any services. It doesn’t matter what or when others paid for anything. You need
to do your own vendor research, ask better questions, get real local answers, timely
answers, or you will waste hundreds of hours on information that is worthless in your
situation. You will set your investment level wrong and may run out of money when reality
