How far in advance should we plan our destination wedding?
Most couples begin planning approximately 12 to 18 months before their preferred wedding date. Starting early provides more choices for resorts, ceremony times, room categories, and flights.
How do we choose the right destination?
Your ideal destination will depend on your wedding vision, budget, guest list, travel preferences, and preferred time of year. You will receive personalized recommendations based on what matters most to you.
Can our guests book through you?
Yes. Your guests will receive assistance with their accommodations, travel arrangements, payments, documentation, and general questions. This allows you to enjoy the planning process without managing everyone’s reservations yourself.
Do all of our guests have to stay at the same resort?
Requirements vary by resort and wedding package. Some resorts require a minimum number of rooms or guests to qualify for group benefits. All requirements will be clearly explained before you make a decision.
Can guests travel from different cities?
Yes. Travel can often be arranged from multiple Canadian gateways, depending on flight availability and the destination selected.
Are payment plans available?
Many destination wedding and honeymoon packages offer deposits followed by scheduled payments. Flexible payment options may also be available for qualifying bookings.
What is included in a destination wedding package?
Packages vary by resort but may include the ceremony location, décor, bouquet and boutonnière, wedding cake, sparkling wine, dinner reservations, photography discounts, room upgrades, spa treatments, and other special amenities.
Can we customize the wedding package?
Yes. Most resorts offer upgrades and optional additions, including private receptions, floral arrangements, entertainment, photography, décor, menus, and ceremony enhancements.
Can you help us plan our honeymoon too?
Absolutely. Your honeymoon can be arranged at the same resort, at a different resort, on another island, aboard a cruise, or in an entirely different destination.
Do you arrange legal destination weddings?
Both legal and symbolic ceremonies may be available. Legal requirements vary by country and can include documentation, residency periods, translations, medical testing, or additional government fees. These details will be reviewed with you before booking.
What happens if a guest needs to cancel?
Cancellation conditions depend on the travel supplier, airline, resort, and group agreement. Travel protection is strongly recommended to help protect eligible prepaid expenses.
Will you be available throughout the planning process?
Yes. You will receive personalized guidance from the initial consultation through departure. Your guests will also have a dedicated point of contact for their travel-related questions.

6 months agoI started my search for a destination travel agent and did not appreciate the lack of response I was receiving from several agents until I came across Camilla. From the beginning she was easy going, wanted to understand my needs and my budget to help narrow down some options. Once my husband and I were able to pick which option we were going with, Camilla made the process easy to understand and assisted us with the necessary next steps to move forward with the planning stage. (e.g. a wedding website to use, providing the guest list etc.) She kept us up to date on any changes and any challenges in getting a hold of guests. Overall, we appreciated Camilla's professionalism and care that she took to ensure our needs were met. Thank you so much for everything you did for us!

7 months agoTerrible experience with this agent. Multiple mistakes on booking info and when I called to get things sorted out she never answered the phone and never called back after I made many attempts. Extremely frustrating experience and extremely unprofessional. Many people in our group encountered spelling mistakes in their booking details causing some guests to almost miss their flight.
