My wife and I stayed at Hockley Valley for a conference and had a generally positive experience. The hotel exterior looks stately, if just a bit tired. Our room was clean and decently appointed, although it was much the same as you would find in a typical chain hotel. The food was terrific. The breakfast and lunch buffets had great food and our plated dinners were also fantastic. The staff we interacted with were all polite and professional.

Stayed 2 nights for a work conference, the check-in process was slow. The room was nothing special, comfy bed but the shower/tub combo had caulking which needs immediate repair. Dining was an event, it took on average 2.5 hours to go through 3 courses. Dinner was served to few seats at every table, randomly, while others were waiting for drinks. The tomato coleslaw which came with the 2 dinner entrees on both nights was odd. Some of our party felt sick after lunch on Day 1. The wait staff seemed unprepared for the group size although we were not a last minute reservation. Breakfast it was chance if you'd get a table or not, or silverware or your drink order. $50 bottle house wine is just crazy. We used Uber Eats to get 7/11 bottles instead after dinner. For the conference room, there were plenty of seats and good lighting. The coffee/tea disappeared after break times. The views were wonderful. Received a surprise room charge of $5.99 on my corporate card despite not ordering anything and checking out in person at the desk. The only thing I can assume it was, during night 1 I asked for a water which they said was free and asked for my room number to keep track. They only had 3 bottles left the front desk employee stated. There is no other reason for the charge, although a receipt-less "free" water shouldn't be on my bill either. Of course there has been no answer tonight as I call to try an ascertain where this fee stems from. TLDR: Food was ok, hotel needs repairs/refreshing, get a statement at checkout and confirm the charges.

We came to Hockley valley in Feb 2025 for an overnight stay. We got the stay and ski package which included a lift ticket and free breakfast. (The breakfast was really good by the way. Lots of options and variety And relief, friendly staff who kept our cups of coffee, full!) The front desk manager Ricky was so nice and made our stay special (it was my momโ€™s birthday). We also enjoyed a nice casual dinner in the bar/lounge area. All of the staff are really friendly and gracious. Overall we enjoyed our stay. My niece had fun swimming in the indoor pool and using the hot tub so there was something for everyone!

Great for golfing Early in the Season, not as busy. The Pro shop and everyone was friendly. Conditions were great! It plays longer that you think. Challenging holes. Got a great deal on green fee. Would come here again if the price is the same.

My wife and I booked a one night getaway and we were incredibly pleased with Hockley Valley Resort! The staff were fantastic to deal with, our room was clean, modern, the bed was incredibly comfy. It made for a wonderful mini getaway. We dined at Cabin and the food (and service) were exceptional. The staff were on point and the quality of the food surpassed some of the outrageously priced Toronto restaurants.Overall, a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering coming. We plan on coming back again in the near future!
