a week agoSnowboarding review only: My friends and I always go to this place as were beginners and they're always friendly and kind. Great place to learn. One of the staff members stood out, named Hudson I believe. He was doing our bindings but instead of doing his regular checks on the board, he engaged with us with means more as a customer. Talking about golf and snowboarding at this resort. I never thought about golfing at this location but because of Hudson, I might reconsider. Ill come if he's on the teebox! Other than that, food was good, drinks were good, rentals were good, lift were good. Overall a good experience if you want to do winter activities here.

2 weeks agoCalm, serene, lovely experience at the spa today. It was great spacing out services to allow for lunch in between. I would have appreciated a tour of the facility in terms of how to access the pool and saunas as a spa guest since I was not familiar with the hotel otherwise and I believe this area is separate from the spa. The staff were all so kind and lovely and I had the BEST experience with Anj!

a month agoMy husband and I had a beautiful rest, the place is quaint and in a beautiful spot. There was no hot water and breakfast was sort of cheap, I wish it was a better quality considering the price we paid ($300 for one night). Coffee maker in the room was not clean. Other then that the view we had was beautiful, it was quiet and beds were very comfortable.

a week agoThe hills are what they are. Can't be penalized for geography. Having said that, they're actually pretty good. My issue is with the facilities which are ok at best. Kinda run down but oozing with potential. The food options are great though. 3.75

2 months agoMy husband and I stayed at Hockley Valley Resort for our anniversary. We enjoyed the spa services, swam in the pool, had dinner at the restaurant Cabin, stayed in a studio room and delighted in the breakfast buffet the next morning. After using the hot tub, pool and sauna, there was a power outage due to an accident on a near by road. Although the power was out for about 1 hour, all of the restaurant staff worked very hard to get meals prepared and serve all the customers, once the power was back on. All of the food was delicious and we were impressed by the professionalism of the maitre d', chef, kitchens staff and servers. They kept their cool despite having to work under pressure. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there and we will be going back for our next anniversary.
