February 8, 2023 at 11:11 amThis hotel puts Chatham-Kent on the map and sometimes you forgot you’re in Chatham! The uniquely themed rooms are second to none and you can’t forget about the scrumptious Chilled Cork restaurant with monthly themed menus. Even though I live in Chatham, I would stay here for the night as a getaway staycation.

September 5, 2022 at 6:55 pmThere is quite literally nothing like The Retro Suites. Whether you’re staying for pleasure, business, celebration or weddings, I can’t recommend them enough. The rooms are incredible and the staff is like no other. We had the honour of staying here for our wedding night and they were sooo great to deal with. We will certainly be back! We also rented the room for getting ready in the morning of our wedding and they brought up some comfy chairs and stools to help with photos and hair/makeup. They are very accommodating!

a week agoSuch a wonderfully wonderful place. The room (and shower) was big, and sqeaky clean - comfortable Bed and lots of choices for pillows. Exceptional customer service (thanks Belinda and the man at the front desk at check out) and an unexpected, healthy continental breakfast. It's 10 minute walk from the train station, has a great cafe around the corner and a restaurant off the lobby. Thanks!

3 months agoStaff are always so delightful and accommodating! They’re quick to come up to your room and assist you if you need something. ⭐️ Every time we stay, the rooms are clean and stocked with whatever we need. I absolutely LOVE that each room is a different theme. We love being surprised each time we stay! ⭐️ It’s located right in the heart of downtown close to so many local shops within walking distance. ⭐️ The artwork and furniture pieces all around the hotel are fun to walk around and explore! Things always get switched up too so every stay feels different. ⭐️ We can’t forget about Chilled Cork! We love dining in or ordering room service. The food is to die for! Best spinach dip in town! ⭐️

a week agoWalls and floors are paper thin.. person upstairs kept us up till 2am walking around their room with squeaky floors. Room was clean and nice. We had to stuff pillows at the bottom of the main door, because the door was like 2inches from sweeping the floor and let so much light and sound in from the hallway. The night experience was less than awful

a month agoWe were gifted a night here for my partner’s work and I don’t think it will be a place we would recommend in the future but we may give it another try not near Christmas. Stayed in the Home Suite Home room which was so loud. You could hear everything above you and everything in the hall. There was a seating area just outside the door which got loud at times. It was a cute room I guess, not my style but not horrible but I can’t get over how loud it was. Not worth complaining to the desk as we were only there for one night but something to keep in mind in the future. May try other rooms at another time but when we have family down we will recommend elsewhere at this time.

2 months agoAttended for Duelling Pianos. I combined it with a 65th surprise birthday. The staff was very accommodating in helping hide the cakes and reserving our tables. Thank you very much. All had a great time. Glad we heard Katie sing too
