3 months agoUpon checking in I was quite excited to stay here! The way in from the back parking area is filled with all kinds of neat things to look at as an art installation. Check in was smooth. Went up to the Cowboy room and was impressed upon opening the door! The room was well laid out, the lighting was terrific! The kitchenette was well stocked and the counter was a great size. The washroom was very nice. The shower was very spacious and had two shower heads. There was a lot of space and a bench to sit upon. The water pressure was decent. The decor was appropriate for a Cowboy themed room. I will include photos. The night went south when it came time to go to sleep. The bed was as hard as a rock. But, the worse part was the bed was old so we felt like we were going to fall out of the bed. We got very little sleep. The room was anything but dark. The room was lit up like a Christmas tree! There was very little sleep to be had that night. We were quite disappointed. The railway tracks that vibrate the chair or bed when you are sitting is rather close and very loud. We could also hear music through the night coming from upstairs. It was loud enough to hear over our conversation in our room, but very loud in the hallway. The air con is quite insufficient for the hot summer that we are currently experiencing. We had dinner at the Chilled Cork. It was okay. We had the Two Can Dine for $70. Dinner was plentiful. We began with the spinach dip and it was yummy, but the pita triangles were very over cooked. I had prime rib and it was very overcooked, it came with risotto - which I apparently missed when it was mentioned. I have no idea why you would put prime rib on top of risotto. Hubs had mac and cheese with fried chicken - it was a LARGE amount. He enjoyed his dinner. Dessert was great - we chose cheesecake. Service was great. I might try it again, but, I am not sure.

4 months agoYou must stay here if youβre in the Chatham area! It was my second time staying here and it always is a fun experience. You could spend hours browsing all the fun decor. My recent stay was in the Easy Rider room and there is a motorcycle on the wall! We were able to check in early which was super appreciated. The restaurant was closed as it was Canada Day but they offered a continental breakfast. Cant wait to come back and see the other themed rooms!

3 months agoThe hotel and room were great. Unfortunately the loft room I booked was right at the intersection so you could hear the noisy cars all night long stopping and going at the lights and hearing the car radios was quite loud and the huge glowing hotel sign was lighting up the whole room. Other than the noise my stay was great!

5 months agoFirst time staying at this beautiful establishment. Just fantastic! The hotel as a whole is an experience in its self. We were in "La Rouge" room, just lovely, and the fact we had a balcony was just great! Was on the priceyer side of things but definitely worth the money. Will be back hopefully at some point.
